About our comber boards.
A jacquard comber board is the perforated plate that guides each harness cord from the jacquard head down to the warp. When the hole pitch is inconsistent, or the edges are rough, cords rub, break and drift, and that shows up straight away as faults in the fabric.
Abhishek comber boards are drilled to an even pitch with smooth, deburred holes so cords run freely across long production runs. We make boards in several grades and colours, as you can see in our range, and can match the hole layout, density and outer size to your loom or a sample board.
